Summary
Reveal Me is part 5.5 in the Touching-Juliette series. This novella is written from Kenji’s perspective and begins with the end of Defy Me. In this book, Kenji is having a really hard time. He has to recover from all of the intense situations, but he does not get much rest.
Review
The Touching-Juliette series is a series with the most beautiful covers you can ever imagine. I couldn’t wait to read this part from my favourite person ever. Kenji has got a warm and soft place in my heart. Every time he appears in this series, I get happy immediately.
I was very happy to be able to dive into Kenji’s world again. In this book, you will find out what goes on in Kenji’s head and how he thinks about everything. When I read this book it felt like that Tahereh Mafi wanted to bring a more emotional bond between Kenji and the readers. This worked for me, but I actually hoped that this would have had happened before, for example in Shadow Me, also written from the perspective of Kenji. But I am very happy that we got to see this other side of Kenji because now you can tell that there is a different side of his funny and loving character.
This short story ends with a cliffhanger. I really want to continue reading on in Imagine Me, but sadly I have to wait a few more weeks before Imagine Me will be published in the Dutch. I can’t wait to read it and I’m very curious about how the story ends.
Conclusion
A short novel with a cliffhanger at the end. You will get to know Kenji allot better in this book.
