‘This book was such an emotional rollercoaster”.

Summary

In the second book of the Truth or Dance series Nikki, Zoë, Lisa & India live together. They start their higher education in dance pretty relaxed. Over the summer holidays their anonymous stalker “Truth or Dance” never messaged them. The stalker used to send them unpleasant messages and forced the girls to make them do horrible things. The girls think the nightmare finally over, but their happiness won’t last very long, because India just received another message…

Review

What a rollercoaster! I’ve laughed and cried for different reasons. Chinouk Thijssen’s writing style is typically quick, which makes this book a very lovely, very easy read. Every chapter is even more thrilling than the last and that’s why you keep on reading.

Since I have loved the first book, I was really looking forward to this one. This book overtopped Truth or Dance. I experienced it as more thrilling and that’s was why I read this book even more quickly than the first one. I have been dancing since I was four and the idea that something this exciting could happen in the dance world is just fascinating to me.

In this book, I really began to question who the anonymous stalker was. I had someone in mind, but after every chapter, you just feel misleaded. This is also one of the characteristics of Chinouks writing style.

Conclusion

A beautiful book that is not only for people who love dancing, but also for everyone who loves thrillers. This series really reminds me of the Pretty Little Liars series, with an anonymous stalker who forces girls to do horrible stuff with messages. So if you enjoyed those books, you will enjoy this series! This book ended with a cliffhanger, and that’s why I just can’t wait for the next book: Dance or Die.
