Summary
In the second book of the Touching Juliette series Juliette, Adam, Kenji & James have fled to Omega Point. Omega Point is an underground where just like Juliette reside. This is where Juliette feels safe and free from Warner. But then she starts to doubt Omega Points actions, especially ones she gets to know Warner better. Review
After reading Shatter Me I just had to get this book. I was really curious as to how this story would unfold. This starts rather slow, however, you undrersttand once all the plot twists came by. Once I finished this part, I just had to go out and get part three. This book ends with a giant plot twist and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on part three.
I love Tahereh Mafi’s writing style, however, it’s a little overwhelming at times. I did enjoy the ‘poetic pieces’, but after a while, it got a bit much.
At the beginning of the book, Juliette is still a timid, modest girl but as the story progresses she becomes a strong, powerful character.
Conclusion
A great book with numerous plot twists. Recommended for Tahereh Mafi fans or people who enjoyed part one, as well as people who enjoy dystopian and fantasy books.
