In the third and final book in the Grisha verse, Alina and her friends have ended up at the Apparat, from which she had to accept his help against her own will. Alina wants to escape from the Apparat and look for the Firebird, the third amplifier. Together with Mal and their friends, they go and search for the third and last amplifier and the lost prince, which they are not even sure if he is still alive. In this part, Alina will have to forge new alliances and set aside old rivals to search for the Firebird. But while Alina is on the road, she discovers something that will change the relationship between her and the Darkling. Killing the Firebird appears to be the only thing that can save Ravka from the Darkling’s evil plan.

Unfortunately, this magic was created by a curse, a reminder of the day her mother died in the woods. When her best friend Anwen is getting crowned, the kingdom is under attack by scary creatures from the magical forest. For Cerys is this the beginning to find the Lady of the Forest in order to save the kingdom. But the forest is even more dangerous than she thought, and when many secrets emerge, the only option is to survive.

El Higgins is a girl who, just like her schoolmates, has the powers to extract ‘mana’, a kind of energy, that you collect from living creatures and objects. This ‘mana’ is then used for magic spells. You can only leave school if you pass the graduation ceremony. There is a lot of mana needed for this ceremony. You aren’t safe – monsters are everywhere. Yet there are still people at the school who keep people safe, like Orion Lake, who beats the terrible monsters almost every day.

The story starts with the last scene of the previous book Restore Me, but you read it from Kenji’s perspective. iette has been kidnapped and is very far from Sector 45. Juliette must try to sort out her memories. She is torn with grief and the darkness that is still lurking in her threatens to take over.

Legendary is the second part of the Caraval series. The book begins where the first part ended with Donatella waking up after Caraval’s closing party. In this part, you follow Donatella and find out that Donatella has made a deal with someone she doesn’t know to be able to participate in Caraval. Now she has to pay for this with information that Donatella can only get if she wins Caraval. The thing Donatella really wants is to find her mother, who disappeared many years ago. In order to achieve this, she must find out the identity of Legend.
